Our exemplary technical pedigree has its origins back even further to 1971.
How did it all start?
With origins dating back to 1971, ITEX has been providing a comprehensive range of Information Technology to the offshore market with a reputation for delivering quality solutions and exceptional service by highly qualified and dedicated people.
From inception in 1987, the Isle of Man operation had a modest footprint and focused on a number of specialist IT services but demand for access to highly qualified expertise and enterprise technology locally, drove a strategy for growth from 2007 onwards.
It became part of the Guiton Group based in the Channel Islands, then part of C5 Alliance Group and eventually became a privately owned Isle of Man company ITEX (Isle of Man) Ltd after a management buyout in 2013.
ITEX has grown from being just a “Systems Integrator” to one that develops and delivers complementary “Managed Services”, and also offers Bespoke System Development and Business Continuity. Our current solutions and services can blend with and complement existing teams and equipment, or provide the people and technology for you.
As experience grows so do the challenges and after further significant investment the ITEX service team have been fundamental in helping to develop and launch the Isle of Man’s first Cloud Service, “My Office Online”. With years of extensive offshore experience, ITEX personnel understood the sensitive nature over where a client’s data could and should reside, and developed a solution that “Helps them work without the worry”.
Strong customer partnerships have been forged over a number of years with financial services companies in the UK, Europe and worldwide. Including top retail and private banks, leading Wealth Management, Trust Administration and Captive Insurance Organisations. ITEX has developed strategic vendor partnerships as the business grew including HP Enterprise, IBM, Microsoft and Cisco, together with leading Isle of Man Telco’s and Data Centre providers.
